well are you using a blue vga cable? if so after you hook it the cable up on both the tv and computer you need to switch the TV input to vga and then after that in some cases you need to change the computer settings to turn on remote monitors tell us more about the computer and what operating system you have then we can assist you further
the video card you used have a capability for dual monitor..so 1st thing that you need to do is to make sure that the computer recognized the 2nd monitor and activate dual monitor capability on the nvidia panel..after that on your tv select the proper source(like VGA, HDMI1 etc.) on which you'll be able to see the the video from the computer to your TV..
