LocationFree is not supported on Windows XP 64bit yet is supported on 32bit

The problem with the software (and dead product) is that is was created with the expectation that there would only ever be 32-bit processors. See if you can use or modify the instructions here:
http://flinchbot.wordpress.com/2011/08/23/installing-sony-locationfree-player-on-windows-x64/
  1. You should have a C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\LocationFreePlayer directory.
  2. Manually create this directory: C:\Program Files\Sony\LocationFreePlayer\LFPC3\US.
  3. Go back to the (x86) directory and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\LocationFreePlayer\LFPC3\US.
  4. Copy these three files from the (x86) directory to the directory you created in step 3:
    1. LFPC3Help.chm
    2. License.txt
    3. OperatingInstructions.pdf

I can't connect to my Location Free base station remotely. The whole idea about the product is to watch your TV away from your home. Could anyone help?

Log into your LFP's settings page by entering the players IP address into your web browser. Then scroll down to access control and enable "Access via Global IP Address". It should start working right away

Connecting to locationfree for use of PSP

Is "locationfree" the name of your SSID at home? If so, the range is limited so you may have to connect to different network.
