Bypass screen lock asus MeMO pad

Asus seems to be having some serious issues with their memo pad and if yours is out of warranty doing it yourself may be your only option. There are a few videos on you tube about this problem so I would check them out. I had to open my Asus tablet when my cat knocked it on the floor and I had a black screen. Be aware that if you decide to fix your memo yourself that you need to be very, very careful every step of the way; take pictures, write notes...whatever you need. Good luck!

The ASUS Memo Pad has a Micro HDMI port next to the Micro USB port. Get a Micro HDMI to HDMI cable and you can connect the ASUS Memo Pad to your TV.

I'm not sure if it has the same function as the nexus 7.. When the '7' blocks you press the power button andfor about 20 seconds and it switches off and resets itself. ( nothing ventured?)

Try a system reset using a pin.

To restart, press and hold the on button on the upper right of the device. Select 'Restart' from pop-up menu.
Not sure if you can recalibrate your screen.
If all else fails, perhaps you can try hard reset:

Try if you can avoid wiping data by selecting option not to wipe.

If you are having this problem with the tablet, but the charger works fine with the cellphone, then mKe sure that you are using the right charger for the tablet, or it could be that the charging port in the tablet is damage, or the battery needs to be replace.

It did work for a while? I've had occasions where I plugged in my tablet but it didn't charge because the plug wasn't seated correctly. Also I discovered it only worked with one of the cables I have even though any mini USB cable will fit. Do you have another cable you can try to plug into the unit

Got new asus memo pad entered my email [email protected] then my password its correct checked spelling. still can't access email I've tried everything. HELP!
