Just want to know what each color wire does, have an interface, just wanna know, the net is running me in circles...no onstar or otr stuff in truck, just the radio...

Smaller gauge wire is dimmer wire. If radio you are installling does not have a dimmer wire, just tape it up.

My 2004 Silverado 2500HD has only one YELLOW wire. Are both the Left Rear Speaker(-) and the ignition on the same wire?
Same issue. But. Here ya go. It's one of the green ones. Should be 3dark and 1lite And dimmer is purple and white

OK, Thanks, now what is the other smaller gauge orange wire located at position 12a on the vehicles harness.
The Orange-Constant +12 volts is located at 12b on the vehicles harness.
Took a bulb to the wire at 12a and nothing happens, turn the key on and the fuel gauge needle drops???
