check power plug at base is plugged in and turned on at power point ( this has happened twice in last two days on my phone base power pack - by others unplugging it)
Check line cord at base unit is plugged in too
base phone not working suggests no power on base and phones battery has gone flat .
did you get the charging base with the hand set
is it a charging base or a base station base
if it is just a charging base , follow the instructions as how to get the base station to recognize the next phone
if it is a base station, probably won't work as you will have 2 base stations trying to work and that will create conflicts
talk with a telephone technician to see what can be done
your base should have power to get the handset working.make sure your base has power , may be loose connection, pull the power cord on the base and insert back and see. or try another outlet to see if any power goes to the base.
headset not syn'd with base, replace headset in base and remove power from base
count to 10 re-power base allow set up to complete, green lights across base and blue battery light on ear piece, allow to charge if less than two green lights on base.
if this still does not work slide ear piece apart count to 3 and silde back together again replace in base and allow to light up again, it will now work
Take the first phone off from the base and turned of.Unplug the power from the base. Put the second phone in the base. Plug in power in the base. The base must search the new " IP or code "of the second phone. Turn on now the first phone , you should hire a small beep on the base or the unit
and should be OK. Both must working now. I wait for an answer.
If you had a storm, and the only handset that works shows line in use, then your base has gone bad and needs repair. The reason the phones are flashing base 1 or something to that effect is because they don't see the base anymore, which typically means no phones will see your base, so its odd that one phone is actually seeing the base. Either way, you can try re-registering the phones to the base, but if you get the line in use after they register (if they will register), then your base is bad. If they won't register, your base is bad. For additional assistance you can go to www.cordlessrepair.com
I solved it out u must pres de paging button on the base while registering the phone to base keep the paging button pressed until starts to beep like 5-10 sec. Good Luck
