From memory these have a lid switch which is activated by a hidden magnet in the lid on the R H side, take the two bungs out at the front and undo the two screws which are located at the top front of the machine under the lid, lift top up as far as it will go and look undeneath the top,you will see two wire going to a small unit there is one screw undo and pull away to see the switch if swollen or white ish thats your problem,as temporary repair you cut it off and join the two wires together tape them up and try machine

hello... removing the board of ur washing machine is going to be a little tedious.. but if ur used to such opening up circuits then fine... have a dry cloth in hand to clean water droplets and also wear a rubber slipper to prevent shock.. examine the board may be if u have a plug in sockets try to remove and reinsert them provided u clean the contacts too.. and try it ON again..

Hi there
That fault is the pump blocked error (no change in water level).
i have a quick and easy way to solve this problem.
first turn the machine off then tilt the machine back and lean it on something(a chair or wall), look underneath, in the top right hand corner of the plastic outer boul you will see a small pump motor it has a fan on it spin this fan and if it is hard to turn that means there is somthing stuck in the drain pump keep turning the fan and try to free whatever is stuck in the pump, then try the machine on spin again all goin well the object in the pump should come out with the drain water(doing this will not harm the machine) if the object is still stuck you will need to get the water out of the machine (bailing or siphioning will work) and tilt the machine back again and take the wires off the pump and there should be a white tab on the boul holding the pump on pull this tab and twist the pump anticlockwise about a quarter turn(you will need a few towels or a boul or bucket to catch the water) and it should come off exposing the blockage.
Hope this solves your Problem.
Nick

Hi You
are right fault 49 is Cold Valve fault. The Motor Controller has measured a
voltage from the valve diagnostic circuit that indicates the cold valve is
faulty. The most likely cause is that the valve harness has not been connected correctly
or it is the valve itself that has gone bad and should be replaced. You can
also check the valve coils for open circuit. If the valve and the wire harness
are good then replacing the Motor control is recommended repair. Hope this
helps...please post back for further assistance. Daniel

Hi - are these particles kinda ash grey black in colour? if they are then the bellows have sprung a leak.. unfortunartely the only way is to replace the inner stainless drum.
Inspect the top of the bowl for any signs of structural damage along the grey plastic housing as it contains very fine sand used to counter balance the inner bowl.. on rare ocassions these leaks and give you the particle effect similar to what you've described..
