Will not rip cds and webcam does not work
Any error msg when trying to rip cd's ? what cd you trying to rip ? Webcam could be drivers not installed.

Have you tried to use it ? Open yahoo messanger, select a person to have video conference with, under actions, select "view my cam" see it the camera activates itself, if it does not, let me know.

Hi, Also have this problem - but have 5732z running Windows7 (out of the box). the Acer website has 3 x webcam drivers - installed all by none work (MSN messenger tells me that there is no webcam installed...)

Yes, there is a button right at the top with a picture of a hand. Sort of a pointing finger action. That will enable and disable touchpad. It is near the power button I believe

you have the button right up there maybe near the power button and click the button on right side from mid and you will... that's it!

maybe be u got the acer cd disk with your notebook when u bought that just reinstall the webcam it's simple if you don't have a software i will give u a link after don't take too much head........
