Rope lights I have thirty feet of rope lights lining the stairs to the balcony of my theatre. Recently a few sections of the rope lighting have gone out - it is one continues length of rope lighting with no breaks - how can only a section of the length be out while the rest is lit? does that mean that that section is burned out or is there a way to get the entire length working again?

Hmmm a lot of rope lights are just mini xmass tree lights inside a plastic tube. If one of the bulbs burns out for that section the it takes the whole section out. Sounds like it's time for a new led rope light.

Which fuse do you take out to reset your check engine light on a Chrysler Town and Country?

Instructions
    • 1

Let the light reset itself. When the engine trouble has been fixed, a Chrysler engine resets the "Check Engine" light automatically after 40 successful runs. If it doesn't reset, the problem likely still exists.

    • 2

Force the computer into "Successful Run" mode. Start the Chrysler and drive forward a few feet, then put it in reverse and go backward a few feet. Do this three times and shut the engine off. Crank it again to see if the light has been on.

    • 3

Disconnect the battery for several minutes. This resets everything in the vehicle, including the clock and radio settings. Reapply the radio settings and adjust the time when the battery is reconnected.

Use a diagnostic scanner to clear the codes. Connect the scanner to the test port, also called the ALDL (Assembly Lineicon1.png Diagnostic Link) usually located under the dash (see Resources section). Turn the engine "On" and follow the prompts on the scanner to pull the engine codes. Select the option to clear them.

The first 6 to 8 feet of the solar rope lights don't work. I have tried 4 differnt sets and they all have same problem

The product says it is a 22 ft rope with 16 feet of lights. So the first 6 feet probably don't have any LEDs. Look closely at the rope, and you'll probably see that there aren't any LEDs in the first 6 feet. Kind of lame...

What is the origin of jumping rope?

Cendali was a football player and his coach told him to run up and down stairs or jump rope. He chose the stairs until it became too slippery in the winter and then he started to jump rope. He became really good and learnt new tricks. By then, he was a gym teacher and taught his students jump rope. In the 1970s, Cendali spread jump rope all over the world. His students formed the rope skipping display team and travelling with him.

How long should your jump rope be for exercising?

If you are 6 feet or shorter, than the rope should be 9 feet long. This is the standard jump rope size found in stores. If you are over 6 feet then you'll need a 10 foot rope. Generally, when you hold the rope and stand on the middle with your feet, each end should reach your arm pit.

We have a 200' deep well. The pump is not working and we cant pull the pump up. It has been sujested that we hook a backhoe onto the plastic pipe and wires lift up and pray. Before I do this are there...

I would try to tie off at the fittings and wire at well cap and lift carefully with backhoe a few feet. I would use double line of 1/4 well rope at least 1250 p.s.i. tensile strength. Lift for a few feet ,enough to get access to suction line and wire. Thentie off lines with double x knots and use electrical tape to make several wraps around pipe, ropes, and wire. Use a stainless steel gear clamp to secure everything in place. From that point lift carefully and as straight up as possible and repeat process.
Continue doing this and just go slow and steady. The main thing I would worry about is that depending what type of pipe and fittings were used is that fitting that is connected to pump will break. I know this is a slow process but I have done this several times with good success. If you tie off and secure with gear clamps every few feet and make sure you have the wiring hooked in tightly it will hold a lot of weight as the wire gauge should be at least 10.
Wishing you the best. Thank you.

When the vehicle was repaired recently, the headlights are aimed too low to be effective. return trips to the repair sop have been ineffective. how do you adjust the head lamps up?

i believe it is 25 feet from a level line on the wall, then on the sides of the lights there are screws with springs, these will move the beam of light. I may be wrong on the distance but for some reason 25 feet is what I remember. Hope this helps tim

Let's see..next time, buddy, you should come from the opposite direction, with the sun in your eyes, then you can testify that you never saw the light(which would mean you're a good candidate for a come to ***** meeting, right)?

ok..who's next..can't wait to see what the ratings are for this one.
