My 2006 infiniti m35 sport isn't playing any sound out the speakers no audio everything works screen shows radio station on can choose a station can put cd player on and play disc but no music volume goes up and down fine when I hit the voice command button I cant hear it threw speakers and if I reply with a request such as play cd it wud play cd but no sound did a speaker test in setting and all speakers went off properly can a bad amp cause all speakers not to work sometimes out of no where music might come on and play for a lil. but then cut off been like this for bout 6 months but wud like to fix it I was told that it had a bad amp and isn't getting the full 12 volt needed to power up the amp can that cause all speakers not to work? am thinking of getting a new amp but doing a lil more reseach before I do.
Yes an amp that is not working could cause this to happen. But I would check it out a little more because when you did the speaker test and all the speakers worked then that doesn't sound right. Find the amp and it could be just a loose connection that is giving you all these problems. Good Luck
