My bizhub is recognizing a new toner cartridge
Replace the cart then might have gotten a bad one from the store

Just unscrew the side of the toner and reste the metalic plastic tab (silver ..) and that's it

You need to make sure that all sticker removed from the ink and that the vent are clear…some of the issue may cause the printer to give wrong reading especially if you touched the ink sensors or got ink around the housing from outside, as far as the level if you ran the alignment or self-cleaning that use lots of ink too
