Click "Apply." b> Allow Devices b> In the "Connections" section, select the check box for "Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer" so that Bluetooth devices can connect to your Asus. Sony Ericsson phones have built-in Bluetooth capabilities which allow them to be connected to a computer or a Bluetooth-enabled accessory such as a headset or speakerphone without using wires. Since Bluetooth does take some power to operate, most Sony phones default to having the Bluetooth powered off to conserve battery power. You can power on the Bluetooth on your phone fairly quickly. Step 1
Press the "Menu" button on your phone and then select "Settings" from the available options. Step 2
Select "Connectivity" from the Settings menu, and then select "Bluetooth" from the available options. Step 3
Select "Turn On" from the Bluetooth menu to power on the Bluetooth on your phone. If you only have a "Power Off" option, then your Bluetooth is already powered on.
Buy a phone with Bluetooth capability or connectivity. If your phone has no Bluetooth application from the factory then it can not be added. If your phone has Bluetooth you can always Enable it by checking the Connectivity Settings and Activating it so you can be able to use it to connect with other Bluetooth-ed accessories and other technologies.
Turn on bluetooth for both devices and ensure that they are both set as "discoverable". Then from your phone search for bluetooth devices and follow the on screen instructions. Note that this will only work if both your pc and phone have bluetooth capabilities.
If the unit is charged, then be sure the phone is bluetooth capable and set to receive a connection. THEN turn the headset on- THEN set the phone to look for bluetooth devices and it should find the headset--- THEN OK the connection and you're in!
you have to first put bluetooth headset in pairing mode by holding the phone hook button down until blue indicator on headset goes solid blue not flashing then set your phone to find bluetooth device by looking under your phones menu and look under bluetooth or connections make sure to turn on bluetooth function and choose find or add device phone will detect bluetooth device and will display the type of device on your phones display tell it to bond or connect once you select yes thats it the bluetooth headset will start to flash and its ready to go.
Put your phone in "Discovery Mode" Most phones can get there by going to Menu/Settings/Tools/Bluetooth. If you don't have Bluetooth option here, your phone probably doesn't have bluetooth capability.
Then, on your bluetooth hold down the big button until the blue light stays. If you have a bluetooth that you flip, make sure it is closed first, press down the button until the light appears and then flip the bluetooth open. that should leave the light on. as the light stays on and your phone on discovery mode they should be able to locate each other.
