Hello, guys. I have a Dirt Devil Bagless Upright and when I bought it, it worked like a charm. Nowadays, when I try to use the hose attachment, it has NO suction, and sometimes the **** thing won't even pick up dirt. I opened every area I was able to open, and cleaned out and wiped down, but if the hose is not picking up, then what else should I do?
I have a Dyson and was having a similar problem some time back. I found out these bagless systems still have a filter that picks up the fine dust to keep it contained. Find out where yours is located and beat the dust out of it really good or just replace it.

First remove the mini-emptor and check for a clog also check the fan for anything cloging that or the hose may be clogged

If there no blockages in the hoses, then the next thing to check would be any filters in the vacuum. When these get clogged, you will experience this problem.

That means that your belt is worn, stretched or broken. You need to replace the belt. You can get replacement belts and view the manual:
