the problem is with cable(wire)...the insulation got failed nd got short circuited....if warranty period is there u can get it replaced with a new one...

the most probable causes of this are: the head set might not be connected properly, there is something wrong with the wire of your headset. it might be broken, or the socket(where you connect your headset) is already broken. First, see if the head set is the problem, other wise bring it to the repairer who can fix that very carefully because if you will be the one who will fix that yourself, it might got more broken than before. Leave it to the experts that know what to do. I can teach you how to fix this but I more prefer to tell you that you might bring bring to the expert repairer to reduce chances of losing your gadget.

If it in Worranty Period, Contact Service Center of Logitech.(Recomanded)

I've had this happen twice with Logitech headsets and believe it has to do with the cheap/fine wire they use in the cables. I suspect that a good tug on the cable will snap the wire or some other internal connection.

Friend you need to use a electronic tester and a slodering iron. just solder the cut wires and test if it has connectivity

did u connect both the output wires from ur headset to ur system audio port.?

the mic cable is probably broken its very simple 2 wires and can be fixed on your own by useing a soldering iron for example.

The wires should be soldered to the speaker terminals. There should be (2) terminals on each speaker.
