After washing my face I noticed small black dots on my wash cloth. They were shaped like rings and appeared to have a head on the circle. Size: about one eighth of an inch in diameter.Later I noticed

When they were dry the ring dissapeared leaveing a tiny lump.

    I noticed them on my shower wall as well.

SOURCE: dots appear on the touch screen

hi lea, does this dots and lines appears occasionally or it just stays there? because if its permanently there, then you might need to replace the lcd part of the lower screen (not the touch screen part) but if its occasionally, then try to see if it happens when your on the lowest brightness or highest brightness, if it is then you will have to adjust the variable resistor on the motherboard of the DS,let me know if you have to do this.

Ecently a small dull black dot has started appearing on my canon power shot A630's lcd screen but when I review the pics taken prior to when I noticed this problem, no dot appears.
1) this is indicative the lcd camera has been faulty.
2) you must replace it.
3) contact your company supplier, and get the parts, you can do it yourself, only need small screwdrivers and common sense.

Black spots floating on top of water
the top seal in the transmission is bad causing oil to get inside you will need to replace the trans but it will be cheaper to buy a new washer

Try adding baking soda to the wash. We have the same issues (son works on a dairy farm) and will on clothing resort to chlorine bleach even on colors in small amounts. Eric

do you use a lot of fabric softner? If you do this might be your problem try to change soaps and stop useing fabric softner. try useing powder detergent and make sure that it is HE. let me know how it goes thanks

Black, tar-like spots on some clothes after wash
Hi
Its probably coming from the outer drum of your machine. That's what holds the water. Your inner drum, what you see, is full of holes and allows the water to pass through in the drum and wash the clothes. that outer drum gets crud in it which then passes through the holes onto your clothes. the easiest way to get rid of it is to get a product called "affresh" from W mart or the big Hardware chains and follow the directions. Do I need to descale or rust treat my Washing Machine?
  • this is a common problem with aging kenmore washers (leaving coins in your pockets speeds it up).
  •  the basket is metal with a porcelain coating. the porcelain coating wears around the edge of the holes in the basket first, leaving bare metal.
  •  when the washer spins the centrifugal force pushes the clothes against the basket and a little into the holes. this leaves little rust rings on your clothes. 
  • lumpy816 is correct in saying that your basket should be replaced. it does require a special tool, and the basket is expensive.
  •  in the mean time try to take the clothes out immediately after the washer stops spinning. and if you get desperate you can clean thee inside of the tub with a rust remover like LCR or a strong toilet bowl cleaner that removes rust.

Small dark circles on laundry after washing
if you do cold to warm washs all the time you will get sludge between the drums,try several 95 degree washs with no cloths in it and see how you go .hope this helps.do you use fabric softner.
