Remington 1100 disassembly and reassembly

It seems there are couple different models to Remington Model 10, there is a smooth bore, and a SS (Single Shot). They were both manufactured in 1962, and both were stopped manufactured in 1964.

Both models 1100 and 1187 have a variety of replacement barrels available for them. They are fairly common. Can't help you with the date but Remington is an outstanding firearms company to deal with. Try their website.

Yes, it can be fixed or replaced, check to see what it is that is worn, get it replaced, or welded. Go to gunparts.com for a schematic of your gun. You can buy parts from them or try ebean. Hope this helps.
