Machine wont power on, cord and power going to it are good.

Could be a bad power supply or bad function board. EBM has both parts available 800-832-6522. You would have to remove plastic cover over the function board and check for voltage on the wires from the power supply (where the on/off switch is to the function board. If no dc voltage is present at function board, then power supply has failed. Power supplies are wearing out due to age.

NO POWER IN MACHINE .POWER AT SOCKET

Possible that the power supply to the main board has failed. You need to remove the control panel to get access to this section.
Remove the panel and check mains power into the board and power supply, check for burnt surge protector which could have burnt the fuse. Also a short in the circuit could have done the same, if not the board must be replaced.

There is no power going through my Bosch 1200 washing machine. I have changed the fuse but nothing. The powe supply is fine. I have moved on Saturday and the machine was working fine in the morning

In such cases what is needed is to remove the power plug and using a multimeter you must check the continuity of the power to the main controller board. If so connect and check the mains voltage to the board. If the boarrd does not respond you need to remove and replace unless you are an expert to check for component level failure.

Washing machine wont turn on

Hello,

Your machine is having a problem that is power related.

First, remove the machine's power cord from the wall, wait for about 30mins, then plug it back in. If it still doesn't power on, then it is surely having a power problem.

When electric current comes from the power outlet into the machine, it goes straight into the power supply board which then circulates the current into the machine. So if the machine doesn't work, then there is a shot on the power supply board.

If any machine or electronics device behaves this way, it means its having a power problem. it might have worked fine in the past, but that's electronics for you. Power surge, irregular power supply, excess power supply, etc can affect the unit thereby not making it to power on.

This unit must have a power supply board in it where power enters from the mains. A capacitor, fuse, diode, etc may have been defective on the power board and maybe that's why its not making the unit turn on. There might also be some disconnection or something, inside the unit which is not making it to power on.

To actually find out what's wrong, you need to disassemble the unit with a screw driver and check what's wrong. You will be needing a meter and continuity tester in order to read the components on the power board, once you detect any bad component, you can make necessary replacement at any electronics accessories store withing our vicinity. This is the only way by which you can detect the problem.

Of course, testing the power board with a meter will require someone that has the ability. So it you can't, then you might be needing the help of a repairman or you can call a friend that has the ability to help you out.

I wish you the best of luck.

Regards.

Hi, My Riso RP3700 won't power up. It started by us having to wait about 10minutes from turning it on before any life kicked into the machine. Now its completely dead. I've checked the fuses and changed...

This is very difficult to resolved you need a technical personel to resolve it. You need to replace either your main power supply unit or the controller board. Ussualy if your machine is totally no power you need power supply unit. You need to removed the back cover of your machine and check if some LED in controller boards lit on. if you see some LED lit on your technical people can reprogram the firmware by putting a flash memory but if same problem persist you need to change the main power supply.

Remove the battery and the power cord, wait 5 minutes and put the power cord in and try and start it. If it starts shutdown the machine and try the same test this time put the battery in aswell. If the machine starts fine you will be ok, if it doesn't start with the battery in then you may need to replace the battery.
