I have a SHU5305us/u12 and my front door lettering got erase. anyone have a picture or a manual that tells me what each button means.

Cycle Interruption

As a safety feature the dishwasher will automatically turn itself off whenever the door is opened. However, if the door is opened quickly while in a wash or rinse cycle some water may splash out of the dishwasher. For this reason it is recommended that the machine always be switched off before opening the door.

To Interrupt a Cycle

1. Press the on/off button to stop operation.

2. Wait at least 10 seconds (or until the water noises stop) before opening the door.

To Resume a Cycle

1. SHU/SHI models, close the door and press the on/off button.

2. SHV models, push the on/off button and close the door.

Changing a Cycle

For Bosch dishwasher models SHI 6800 and 4320, SHU 5300, 5310 and 6800 press the program button of the desired cycle TWICE. For all other Bosch dishwasher models, press the program button of the desired cycle ONCE. The chosen cycle button (or the light above it) becomes illuminated, showing that it has been selected.

* SHU 3030 and SHU 3130 models do not have program lights.

Cancelling a Cycle

Each control panel shows which buttons to simultaneously push to cancel a cycle. Refer to your dishwasher to find the cancel drain buttons on your particular model.

1. Press the indicated buttons at the same time and hold for approximately 3 seconds.

2. When the drain pump noises stop and the LED display or clean light indicate that the end of the cycle has been reached, the dish

washer is reset.

3. Press the on/off button to turn the dishwasher off.

4. The dishwasher is now ready to run a selected cycle. Add more detergent if necessary.

How can I interrupt my dishwasher cycle without causing it drain out all the water and then have to start from the beginning?

Hey friend, thank you for the post!
From my understanding you are trying to interrupt your dishwasher cycle without causing it to drain all the water out and then have to start it from the beginning. Once the door has been opened the wash cycle will stop and once it has been closed again your appliance would start up where the cycle left off. Hope this is helpful - Matt

My Maytag QuietSeries 400 dishwasher won't start. Sometimes 88 flashes on the display and that's all. What does that mean? Model # MDB7601AWB

Dishwasher will not start Is the door open or unlatched?
Make sure the door is completely closed and latched. On models with a dual-digit display, the control displays "- -" during a cycle if it believes the door is not latched. Check for obstructions (spoons, etc), interfering with the door operation. A lower dish rack that is installed backward will also cause incomplete door closure.

Check your household electrical box to see if a fuse has blown or if the circuit breaker has tripped. If the unit has a plug-in power cord, make sure it is plugged in.

Does your dishwasher have a rotary timer knob? (Some Models)
The cycle selection must match the position of the timer knob. Turn the timer knob to the beginning of the preferred cycle. The timer knob should click when you reach the start of the cycle.

Is the control lock option activated?
Press and hold the Heated Dry option (button with lock icon) for three to five seconds and the light should turn off. Instructions are also placed on the label on top of the inner door to unlock the controls.

Is the delay start option activated?
To cancel the delay and cycle, press Cancel/Drain.

Has the motor stopped for less than 10 minutes?
The motor may have stopped due to an overload. If this is the case, the motor will automatically reset itself within 5-10 minutes.

Is the Start/Resume indicator flashing?
Opening the door or interrupting the power can stop the cycle. Close the door and press Start/Resume. If the Start/Resume indicator flashes three times when you press Start/Resume, the dishwasher is waiting for you to open the door after the last cycle. Open and close the door, and then press Start/Resume.
On models where the controls are on top of the door be sure to close the door within 3 seconds of pressing the Start/Resume to start or resume the dishwasher cycle.

Is the water shutoff valve (if installed) turned on?
Make sure that the water shutoff valve is turned on.

MDB7600aws Maytag dishwasher heats up with door shut when off

Your timer is jamming on the heat cycle. When you open the door the door interlock switch cuts the power off and stops the cycle.

Probably if you just close the door again it will heat again unless the machine is started again.

You need to repair or replace the timer.

Whirlpool quiet partner III

Hello bckp,
Welcome to Fixya

If your dishwasher does not run or stops during a cycle

Is the Start/Resume indicator flashing? Opening the door or
interrupting the power stopped the cycle. Close the door and
press START/RESUME.
Does the Start/Resume indicator flash 3 times when you
press START/RESUME? The dishwasher is waiting for you to
open the door after the last cycle. Open and close the door,
then press START/RESUME.
Is the door closed tightly and latched?
(NOTE: On models with a dual-digit display, the control
displays “- -” during a cycle if it believes the door is not
latched.)
Is the right cycle selected? Refer to the “Cycle Selection
Charts.”
Is there power to the dishwasher? Has a household fuse
blown, or has a circuit breaker tripped?
Has the motor stopped due to an overload? The motor
automatically resets itself within a few minutes. If it does not
restart, call for service.
Is the water shutoff valve (if installed) turned on?
It is normal for certain cycles to repeatedly pause for several
seconds during the main wash.

If the dishwasher will not fill

Check the overfill protection float that is able to move up and down
freely? Press down to release.

Let me know if any of these procedures helped you?

Cleaning out dishwasher

Hi I checked the manual on line. Here's what it said.

Dishwasher has an odor

Run dishes being held in the dishwasher through a Rinse Only cycle.
• Many dishwashers have a “new” smell when first installed. This will dissipate with use.
• Dishwasher may not be draining properly. (See “Dishwasher Will Not Drain” section.)
• For a strong odor, place baking soda in both sides of the detergent cup. Select Light
Wash cycle and allow the water to circulate for about 10 minutes. Interrupt the cycle
by unlatching the door and let it stand overnight. Restart the dishwasher by latching
the door and allow it to complete the cycle. Another alternative is to use a dishwasher
cleaning product such as Jet-Dry Dishwasher Cleaner*.

Good Luck
