My Jenn-Air range top will spark but no ignition. Gas does not seem to have enough pressure on that burner

Generally the issue with this is not that you don't have the correct pressure but the Burner top hat that displaces the gas is dirty.
Remove the metal rack to expose the burner itself. Make sure it's not been used recently to prevent a burn. Carefully lift the little burner cap off. This is the piece with all the holes in it the flames come from. They generally just sit on top. You will need a flashlight, know look in the little slits below the cap for cleaning material buildup. A tooth pick or a stiff bristle tooth brush can be used to clean these little slits.
The cleaning products used to clean stove tops tends to leave little trace amounts of surfactants that over time block these little slits and prevent the escaping gas to flow towards the ignitor preventing the burner from lighting.
Once you have this clean replace the top. Put the pan grate back on and try to relight the stove.
I am sure this should fix you issue. If it doesn't please let me know and I can give you some other tips to try.

How do I plug back in the GE stove top burners after unplugging them?

The two leads from the burner fit into a socket in the stove top. It's a bit tricky to get it in just right. If the three metal "legs" on the burner fit snugly into the three slots on the stovetop you did it right.

All of the burners on my range started flikering at the same time and they were off. I could not stop them. I saw a little smoke escaping from the rear right burner. It finally stopped flickering and now...

yikes .. you have a very dangerous condition there ... ventalate the area and turn the gas off immediatly.. there is a shutoff valve somewhere in the gas line coming to the stove top .. if you cant find that then shut off the gas at the gas meter or call the gas company to do that for you (its free) ...
your problem is likely a loose pipe or cracked manafold .. it is leaking gas under the cooktop .. i would replumb the unit and check for cracks .. or call a professional .. your unit comes with a 1 year warranty or an additional 4 years if you bought extra coverage .. that probably wont cover a bad installation if thats the problem (unless the repair company installed the unit to start with) .. but will cover the stoves inside plumbing ..
your stove is not safe the way it is .. if you can still smell gas then you shouldnt be in the house until the gas is turned off ... windows should be open .. dont turn on lights or other things that can ignite the gas .. and absolutely dont try to relight the burners until the problem is fixed ..

Broke glass on electric genn-air

Please do not use the stove if the element is viable because of broken glass, this could become a danger to yourself.

Look at the cost of a new stove, you should be able to get one for
around 400.00. One of my customers had a glass top with 4 burners,
they had the same thing happen, the cost to replace the top was
1,200.00. So I would assume that you can get a new stove with 4
burners less then it would cost to replace the part on a stove you don't like. Maybe there is a LOWES around you to look at stoves,
they seem to be everywhere, like death and taxes.

As for putting a 4 burner top on a stove that has 2 with grill, I don't think it can be done without the extra cost of adding the parts to run the other 2 burners, so like I said in the long run,it just might be cheaper to but a new stove. It should not be a big deal to remove the exhaust from the grill part of the stove.

I looked at the model# you put down, and it does not have a grill,
from what I see, there are 4 burners and a downdraft vent in between the 4 burners, there are 6 models with this part # and none have a grill, only the downdraft vent.

If the model# is right, the cost would be around 300.00 for the glass, and then the cost of having it replaced. So I would say over
400.00, In which case for the same amount you could have a new one, but you must weigh the difference for yourself and see what you think is the best way to go.
If you have any more questions, please post back and everyone is more than willing to help you. I hope I have helped a little.

Just bought a house, no manuals

After a pot spillover, the cleanup process triggered my stove top to "control lock"

I removed the pot and once the stove top cooled I pressed and held the "control lock" button.

It began to blink, I released it and then the light went off and the stove top operated normally.

You might not have to wait for the stove top to cool. I don't know.

Whirlpool Oven, Ceran stove top

I want to say that since I posted my original problem with black spots appearing on the Schott Ceran top, I took pictures of the top and attached them to a complaint sent to Maytag. Approximately 3 days later, a Maytag representative phoned and offered a brand new top-basically stating that there is a fault with the tops. They would not pay for the labor to replace the top. My husband downloaded the instructions from Maytag website and installed it himself. These spots actually appear from within the surface and are not the result of a boil over, etc. The spots on my burner grew to the width of the burner. If you search the internet, you will see many others with the same problem with the Schott Ceran tops. I will never buy another!
