Try using the programming software if you have them. Otherwise, there is a procedure on the manual if you have them. I use to download the manuals on the Panasonic webpage.

it may be the battery for its memory be dead...if this is true the phone installer can straighten it out for you

you have to do that in the pabx setting where by you set all out going calls to be calling direct but all incoming calls to be calling to the switchboard first so change the call restriction feature

this manual covers the phone itself but you should look for the manual for your phone SYSTEM (box on the wall that runs all yours phones)

You don't, it won't fit inside the cover :-)

A Panasonic phone system has a port labeled EXT MUSIC. You run a cable from your music source to the port and program Background Music in software. Most of the phones then let you press "1" if you only have one music source, or dial a code and choose music 1 or 2.
