Kodak scan mate i1120 not connecting to outlook

You can check the following:
1. The second scan image interface cable
2. The second scan image
Which is usually the interface cable fault

You must have an email program like Outlook installed on your computer. When scan to email is selected it simply opens whatever defaul email client and attaches the scanned doc to a new email message.

I am assuming you are inquiring about MAC drivers for the i1120? Not happening.

Install the most recent driver: http://graphics.kodak.com/docimaging/us/en/support_center/index.htm

Ensure the scanner is NOT plugged in to a USB 3 port (usually blue or has the letters "SS" (Super Speed)). If so, turn off, plug in to a USB 2, power it back up with the most current drivers.

You need to uninstall old driver then reinstall new driver from below link. Click here Click on above link download driver for your os uninstall old driver and all usb drivers from device manager then install driver. 1st You download Scanner Driver. Kodak Scanner Driver After this install the Scanner driver in the system.
Installation of Scanner Driver

• Go to the control panel
• Click on the System Icon
• Click on the Hardware Tab
• Click on the Device Manager then
• Select the Unknown Device or scanner device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
• Right click on it and uninstall it.
• After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
• Driver installation Wizard start.
• Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
• Driver will be install.

I had same problem with Kodak s1220 scanner. Smart button didn't invoke the oem program in Windows 7 64 bit. It started the windows program which wasn't as slick as the oem. I un-installed and re-installed programs in all kinds of orders to no avail. The updates didn't address the issue. I finally started digging in the various folders in the update package and found a directory called "Button app" it had a install setup program and a file called "killKSS". After that it worked! Sweet. Now if I can only charge kodak for my time.

connect ur computer and printer via usb cablen.scanning requires a place to scan and save the document. open home center on desktop and scan from there. u will be able to scan whatever u want. call kodak@ 1800 421 6699 for further directions.

The easiest way would be to install activesync on a windows pc and synchronize your contacts to outlook/outlook express from the I-mate then sync them back to your Touch.
