F01 means that the main relay control board inside your control panel has failed and your control board would need to be replaced to fix the issue.

You should have about 9 1/4 inch screws holding the back panel on. Unplug the dryer. After you remove the back panel look down to your lower left and you will see a small oblong white fuse with 2 wires going to it. Check it for continuity. If it is open it is bad. It will fail at 196 degrees Fahrenheit. This will most likely be caused by a restriction to the airflow in the vent.
Sounds silly, but because it's an electric dryer, it's run on a 220 line. Double check your breaker box to make sure both breakers are in the correct position. If only one breaker is in the correct position, you'll have electrical power, but the drum won't spin.
Here is a link to maytag dryer repairs http://apcoappliancerepair.wordpress.com/?s=maytag+dryer . The most common problem is the thermal fuse. My question is. Does the heating element start to light. If not...... and you have changed the ignitor and thermal fuse. Then check the flame sensor to see if there is continuity threw it. Power to the gas coils and ignitor runs threw the flame sensor. CLICK HERE to see a flame sensor on a GE dryer. They are the same on most units but Maytag will be on the opposite side of burner chamber.
The only problem is going to be is the control board. I am not aware of the "error code F06" so this makes it even more likely that the control board is bad. I get all my parts thru AppliancePartsPros since they give a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy which is great. Here is the board to order.
Hi, Double check the power source, you may need to reset the breaker. It would be rare that the dryer would fault internally during transit because a gas ignitor you be the loss and you do not have one. Check the power supply and confirm you have at least 220 volt to wall and dryer. Get back to me if you need more help. Thanks
Manual says it could be a number of things, and you should have a copy of the manual since you've only had the dryer 3-4 months. If not, go to the Maytag website and download.
Some things to check -
1) Press Start/Cancel if dryer was stopped in a middle of the operating cycle. 2) Check that one of the two breakers has not tripped or fuses blown (if an electric dryer) in your breaker panel.
Please reply the flashing code number so that I may can help you further.
