Hi, i seen this before, whoever fitted the batteries needs to double check the connections. One customer needed the brushes replacing so it may well be worth checking ...

On this controller there is a 6 light LED display above the battery icon which is below the horn button. Turn on the power chair with the 1/0 button and the LED display will light up. The lights are red on the left, yellow in the middle and green to the right. If all 6 lights are lit the chair is fully charged. Hope this helps.
The chair may be in what they call SLOW MODE or the batteries are weak. If you have powered seating on the chair the seat has sensors that make the chair drive slow or not drive at all when the seat is tilted or reclined or raised. A sensor can go bad or get out of position. The joystick could have different programming for different drive modes. Try changing drive modes.
It could be a few things.
It might be on freewheel.
To solve this:
1. Turn the chair off.
2. Locate the freewheel lever just behind the drive wheel, and on top of the motor.
3. Push the lever inward to engage the motors.
4. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other side.
5. Turn the chair on and see if it works .
If not, it the circuit breaker might need to be reset because of heavy strain on the motors and batteries.
To solve this:
1. Turn the chair off.
2. Find the circuit breaker on the front of the case, off to the right side (you will see a hole in the case)
3. Press the circuit breaker button.
4. Turn the chair on and see if it works.
if not, the battery may need to be disconnected and reconnected
To do this
1. Turn the chair off
2. Release the friction lock lever under the seat.
3. Remove the seat.
4. Release the rear shroud fastener and the yellow fastener under the front shroud.
5. Remove the shroud.
6. Disconnect and reconnect the battery connector (the big plug)
7. Replace the shroud and seat.
8. Turn the chair on and see if it works.
If not, contact your provider.
Poor batteries or very weak batteries Also make sure you have the speed control to full in a safe area and try it there. But my bet is on the batteries Good Luck
Low batteries Outlaw. If you have charged the batteries and after only a little while you get the blinking red light -----Time for New batteries. Hope this helps you
Romp, Did you check the freewheel levers chair will not move if you are in freewheel. Levers are in front next to seat posts and need to be facing forward. If you are not in freewheel then check the number of lights you have on on the joystick and that they aren't flashing. Also check that your speed control is not on the lowest setting even with some charge a slow speed setting will not let the chair move. Now by some charge you mean lights in the green on the joystick? If the lights aren't flashing then I'm kinda unsure other than even with some charge the batteries don't have enuf current to drive the motors and need to be replaced Hoe this helps

Hi Susan, I repair power wheel chairs, Its possible that your chair has a bad battery on it , all p/chairs have 2 batteries. And even though you show a full charge one battery may have a bad cell in it you need to get both batteries load tested . I think you my find one of them bad. take them out of chair and have them tested. You can get replacement batteries , and have yours tested at a store that sells batteries only, look in yellow pages for a battery store . Good luck, Erik
