First turn the water off and remove the water inlet hoses and check the strainers in the connector on the machine. They can become clocked with limescale and debris.
If they are okay, you need a new water inlet solenoid valve.
Hot water valave faulty if your hot water tap is open and can pass water. Otherwise fault inside the control board. It also can be fixed but first look at the hot water valve and the btap.
OK, time to go into cheat mode. You can always install a toggle switch to that wire. The only features I see you losing are that the time will be incorrect on the clock and it might not save your preset radio stations. All other functions are basic. Might I suggest a lighted toggle switch, this will help to remind you to turn it off.
