it is a desktop
and is ThinkCentre A70 Desktop (added later)

Lenovo ThinkCentre A70 Desktop Motherboard L-IG41M2

so if correct we go here and get your driver next.

there are 33 drivers just for A70 alone, if it is A70
windows XP to W10, why not tell the helper first what OS>? is now or wanting to run.?
here they all are.... every one.
https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/search?query=ThinkCentre%20A70&SearchType=Auto%20Suggestion&searchLocation=Homepage

here is the whole A70 web page coverage at lenovo

    Did you lose the case.?
did you buy (ebay) a NNaked mobo with that sticker name stated, or found in a dumpster or garage sale this MOBO? ONLY it?
if the case is not lost the case has the Lenovo service sticker on the side
does it say thinkcenter A70 or what?
answering only the hyjackers I am.

  • Anonymous Nov 20, 2018

    get 10x better help hyjackers,
    start your own post.
then tell what OS you run, no really.
Xp to W10 possible . or Linux
Then tell the full model name of the PC.
state the symptoms good or bad (both)
tell if the OS is freshly loaded or is 17 years old like XP can be, the virus magnet.
if confused ask at the Lenovo forum.
    google that, 1st hit that.

The A70 is 8 years old; not too shabby

  • Anonymous Nov 20, 2018

if loading Linux , the answer is 100% different. see?

  • Anonymous Nov 21, 2018

what was fun here, is finding the true name of the PC, and model
    basic web research does that.
A70 is it. and I added it to OP post.
driver for what not stated, (I can't guess)
driver for what OS? guess at W7 due to year.
    and they are at Lenovo.com
ever one is is there, and is a 1st first thing.

http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page?selector=expand

You left out the model number, but go to the page above, click Desktops, click ThinkCentre M Series, click ThinkCentre M57, click 6072, then figure out your model number and select that, finally select the operating system for which you need drivers.

Need ethernet and mobo drivers

The i in i915p, and i915g, stands for Intel.

It is a motherboard chipset made BY Intel, for IBM/Lenovo.
HOWEVER, just as you suspected, the drivers are proprietary from Lenovo.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_intel_chipsets#Pentium_4.2FPentium_D.2FPentium_EE_chipsets

Research has led me to conclude the Lenovo 29r8260 motherboard, was used in the IBM/Lenovo ThinkCentre M51; series of Desktop PC's.

Let's go see if this holds true, using the information we have.......

http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/lenovo-thinkcentre-m51/4507-3118_7-31000439.html

Intel 915G motherboard chipset

http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-ThinkCentre-M51-Motherboard-3-4GHz-P4-HT-29R8260-8143-WMG-/360578959486?pt=US_Motherboard_CPU_Combos&hash=item53f42e487e

So far everything looks good.
One more thing to check.........
Go to Device Manager, and see if Broadcom is listed; under -
Network adapters.

(Using WinXP as an example,
Start > Right-click on My Computer > Left-click on Properties at the bottom of the list.
Left-click on the Hardware tab > Left-click on Device Manager.
Left-click on the + sign next to - Network adapter)

Conclusion?
If Broadcom is the name of the ethernet chipset, it will be in the Network adapter list.
If this holds true, then the following Lenovo Support website, for the ThinkCentre M51 is the one you want,

http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page?selector=expand

Using the Ethernet driver as an example;

1) Click on - Networking: LAN (Ethernet)
2) Click on the blue - [+] Click for files

3) Click on the blue - Broadcom Ethernet driver and software.
(Or Download, to the right)
4) A small window will come up -
Opening q3etn12us13.exe
Click on Save File.

5) A small download window will come up.
Allow the file to download all the way, then DOUBLE-click right on the file name.

At the bottom of the next 3 small windows, click on -
Next, Next, and Finish.

If you are not asked to restart your computer, do so.
Close all windows, go back to your desktop screen.
WinXP: Click on Start > Turn Off Computer > Restart.

I'm sure you didn't need all that, but included just in case.

For additional questions please post in a Comment, or on Reply at the end of the solution.

Audio Device

The same model ThinkCentre can have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless you know exactly which one is installed in your ThinkCentre, you need to download all the drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver. When you download the audio and device drivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a record of which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files are located on your hard drive. Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB site - support/download page and download the latest Windows device drivers for your model computer, Use this link: - http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FbrowseByProductLandingPage.vm&sitestyle=lenovo&brandind=10&validate=true
