ViewSonic VA912b monitor fading out during boot

I'm currently working on figuring out what's wrong with this monitor, and there are no helpful solutions so far. It is a 19" ViewSonic VA912b LCD monitor, with VGA and DVI input. Whenever I try to power on the monitor, the screen flashes on with a small blue box right in the middle of the screen, followed by the screen immediately fading out to black, then the green LED that shows that there is signal goes right to yellow and nothing else happens. The text in the box is too small for meto read in such a short amount of time that it is there. Has anyone else come across this problem? If so, what can be done to fix it? I'm thinking the circuit board could just be shot...

The monitor also has this behavior without the cable plugged in with just power being supplied. I noticed the text said, "Analog" and that's when the picture dies out. Anything would be helpful.

It is probably the power supply, or the inverters.

Similar problem with solution, though it requires you to know something about electronics.

First please make usre that the PC Video card resolution is set to he native resolution, 1280 x 1024 @60Hz. Hopefully you will not have the caps problem which you may want to check. please see my pictures here (I will not be surprised if it does have bad caps):

Va912b monitor - when booting up, monitor only displays for 2 seconds - need to turn monitor on/off until I can enter the Vista password - display doesn't work until I can begin typing after desktop boots...

I will assume that you already try this monitor with other PC already, if that the case, you will need to open it up and inspect the capacitors in the power supply, look for caps with bulging top, see pictures here: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/Viewsonic%20VA912B/
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further.

LCD Panel went dark al of a sudden

It could be a faulty inverter or a faulty CCFL lamp.
