Hey i have experienced the same and infact recovered all my folders. search for stellar data recovery.
Use a file recover untility and that should help. I would put a good anti-virus program on the hard disk next time.

Hey Yus_Hafizi,
Often times on windows when you drag a file it will create a shortcut instead of making a copy. One way to copy a file for sure is to highlight the file and then go to Edit -> Copy in windows explorer/my computer window. Then browse to your external HD and go to Edit -> Paste. This will for sure copy the file as opposed to making a shortcut.
