How can I get Dynex TV out of "protection mode"?

the protected mode kicks in when there is a safety issue with the receiver. This usually comes from an overload to the system via a short in the system or perhaps a surge in power. Your receiver shuts down, and you'll need to shut the entire system down to fix it.
In some older homes, some of the wiring doesn't deliver the "cleanest" power, delivering minor power surges to the items you plug directly into the wall. If your receiver is plugged directly into the wall, purchase a surge protector to stop this

My Harmon kardon is stuck in protect mode

Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. Double check all connections .A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you. Worth fixing.

The unit will need to be repaired by a technician. Most likely you have a bad transistor that is causing the protect mode to turn on. The only way to get the protect mode to turn off is to remove the bad part.

It overheated, due to lack of ventilation. Now in protective mode

Disconnect all speakers at the receiver, if it stays on, post a comment and I can help you troubleshoot further. If it stays in "protect" it needs serviced. Hope this helps.

Sony str-da90es in protect mode

When these units go into protect mode, they normally have a blown channel. It is not an easy fix, it will require the replacement of a few parts. You would need a multimeter and soldering equipment to determain which parts need to be replaced.

If you would like to fix it yourself let me know and I can help you with it, but it would not be an easy job for you unless you have some experience at troubleshooting electronics.

Display read protected and wont do anything

Usually, protect mode is enabled when the speaker output wiring has shorted together or is touching ground/+12V. I would verify that none of the speaker wiring has come loose.

Getting my amplifier out of protect mode

There is a problem with one or both of the audio amplification circuits. The amp is going into "protect mode" to protect your speakers. I'm afraid there is no simple fix. this will need to go to the shop to be repaired...

...unless you have been tinkering with the speaker connections recently. In which case, make sure all connections are sound & there are no wires touching other wires. This causes a short circuit. Leave it disconnected from the mains overnight. There's a slim chance it might spring back to life tomorrow.

Good luck & let me know how you get on.
