The first thing to check would be to see if you have open circuit voltage at the weld output terminals when you push the pedal. Make sure the high frequency is off if you are going to to check with a multimeter. After that if you do have OCV but no high frequency to start the arc, try it in start and in continuous. When you put it in continuous it bypasses a control relay. Also check the HF points to make sure they are clean and gapped to about ten thousandths.

SOURCE: Can i power this unit with my old Miller Bobcat

If your Hobart Mig is less than 250 amps then yes you can, bobcat 225 will give you10000 watts and you require at least 8000 watts for the hobart.

I have a Miller Syncrowave 250 DX and it has 3 fans, 1 come on as soon as machine comes on and after welding for about 10min the other 2 come on but they are not

Do you mean to say that the other 2 should come on, but are not? Perhaps you are welding using lower settings than before, and the machine just isn't heating up as quickly. Is there a point at which the fans do come on? Say thirty minutes into the job instead of ten? Maybe you were afraid to run it too long without the cooling fans on and so stopped prematurely, before the thermostat turned them on? Check fuses and breakers.

Syncrowave 250 dx fan not comming on

I have a Miller XMT304 in for repair at the moment and it will run full load (250A) on a load bank for 5 minutes before the fan comes on. By the way the fan is 24v DC. I couldn't be sure but your fan may be similar
Hope this helps.

Miller syncrowave 250 tigrunner with gas flow

Your problem is in one of two areas. The controller board inside the unit or a bad trigger on your gun.
