I needed all the drivers for the Compaq Presario SR5250IL drivers for windows XP. I tried in HP site, Drivers availed for windows vista only. Kindly help me to download.

But download those and try to run
since your lap is made for windows vista there will make drivers for upcoming operating syserms

I need drivers vista compaq presario 5000 multi media or windows 7 drivers

There are no Vista or Windows 7 drivers available for this PC. All the available drivers for all versions of the Presario 5000 family are available here http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/ProductList.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=135&prodTypeId=12454&prodSeriesId=96382.

As you'll see the available software for these goes from XP back to Windows95.You might find that some of the XP drivers will work with Vista.
