Sharp Aquos LC-37HV4U red lights stay on and will not turn on

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. when this occurs this is got only meaning: the Ignintion panel is faulty its the board/chip that gives the signal to the TV to start

to replace that part u must a serious soldering skill and and take to much risk cuz u might make more damage on that TV

how many blinks does the red light give in a row? This would be an error code?

The problem for 7 blinks would be an Interface board. Apparently there is a glitch in the interface board that sends signals to the television. Basically the glitch shorts out the board and the t.v wont turn on and you will see the power light blink 7 times pause then 7 more. You can replace the board with a new one and update the software on the new interface board.

these flashing lights are error codes set by the manufacturer..
Call sharp...they will tell you the problem

What do three blinks of the power light mean on my Sharp Aquos LC-C5262U? I cannot power up my display.

i hve the same problem. I turned on my Sharp Aquos lc-32d62u HDTV last night for the first time, but it is black and a blinking green light.
did you find a solution?

hold down the input button and volume - while the MAIN POWER BUTTON IS OFF. Then turn on the main power button while those are held down, the light on the tv & avc box will turn green, then immediately let off the 2 buttons and press volume +. Next step is to repeat the process about 20-40 times & the TV WILL WORK!. I have read that this may have something to do with the energy star compliant commads that can changed through the serial port.
