When your mixer is not starting , you could have a motor that has overheated as the mixer motor is thermally protected. An electrical problems such as a reset GFCI outlet or electrical breaker may also be causing the problem.
The manual recommends turning off the mixer and also waiting for about 10 or 15 seconds, and turning it back on. If the mixer still will not run, wait for 30 minutes before trying again. The unit does not have a reset button, so if it still doesn't operate after a 30-minute wait, you'll have to look elsewhere for the problem.

What kind of Kitchen Aid Appliances are you using? Kindly contact the Seller of that product if they can fix it or else if you just recently buy the product contact the company if it has a warranty so they can replace it.

I have a KitchenAid hand held mixer. The beaters will not stay in. Model # KHM53ER. Would like instructions on fixing it.....also where are parts available, if needed.

Contact an Authorised Kitchen Aid service company and ask them. If parts are available they will be able to source them for you. Start at the Kitchen Aid web site.

Why kitchen aid mixer wont turn on

Any number of reasons such as:
Bad electric cord
Bad brush or brushes
Bad armature or stator
Control plate broken

You need the Service Manual:
http://www.kitchenaidparts.eu/documents/pdf/service-manual/classic-svc-manual-new-email-version.pdf

While this manual does not cover the Artisan specifically, the procedures do apply.

A200, 1st gear had no torque(I could stop by hand). Found & replaced key on low speed gear. It sheared it again. It is just shearing it on the flat gear part, not the bevel gear part. I'm thinking it...

I have had my Kitchen Aid since 2003 and never had this problem. If this has happened to you more than once, I would call Kitchen Aid and explain the issue to them. My sister had an Issue with her new Kitchen Aid and they had her bring it for service and they replaced it with a NEW mixer. Kitchen Aid is very good with brand accountability.

I have kitchen aid stand mixer and i can't get the beater to attach because the button is stuck??

The button doesn't move. You must push the beater up beyond th notch and turn it while pushing up.

Kitchen aid stand mixer bought in US, moving to Europe, 220v 50hz

I can not respond to the warranty issues. My kitchen aid mixer is past warranty as well. I live in a country that uses 220V and my kitchen aid mixer is 110V. I have been using my kitchen aid mixer for almost 4 years with no problems at all.

The converter boxes are supposed to blow the fuse on the converter before it reaches your appliance and cause any problems.

If you purchase a 220V kitchen aid (although it would cost more money) it would probably have more power because of the higher voltage.

Hope this helps!

Kitchen aid 110v 450watt, I want to convert to 220v

Hi guys,

The only available Kitchen Aid stand mixers on the European markets are the Kitchen Aid Classic and the Kitchen Aid Artisan.

The best way is to contact a Kitchen Aid service center / repair facility in your area.
Here is the European website of Kitchen Aid: http://www.kitchenaid.eu/eu_EU/ka/ka_europe.htm

If you bought a different Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer (like the Professional series) you probably won't find the required parts to convert it to a European model. The only way would be to use a voltage converter.

I hope this helps.
