Spring to stapler fell out

The little spring inside the electric stapler fell out when I was trying to unjam it. Where does it belong and how do I put it back in?

So I just figured out the whole issue with not being able to figure out where the spring goes in the "BOSTITCH ELECTRIC STAPLER" So pull the slide out and the spring slides to the very back of the inside of the stapler. Once in the back put the slide back in and then the staples close it back up and get back to stapling. YOUR WELCOME.

With the power off, remove the three screws from the bottom. The top cover should come right off. Holding the bottom cover to the internal components board are four gold colored screws; remove them and pull the bottom cover off. The spring can just be slid back over the plastic nub below the staple stage. If it's falling off, try using a small amount of super glue around the base. Replace the covers and screws in the same order you removed them and it should work.

Handle stuck in locked position

One of the screws - furthest away from where the staples exit - has a nut on it... Remove the nut, then - using pliers - back out the screw. When I did this, the spring returned, a bent staple fell out and once re-assembled I could use the stapler again (for a few turns). It seems like the stapler is VERY sensitive to bounce during the stapling, you must hold it very tight (and flat) to the material so that the staple doesn't jam inside the stapler. Lousy product.

Panasonic DP 3520 J62 only when using stapler

The stapler mechanism may be jammed. try to make sure it works freely. It has to "crimp" the staples similar to a car crushing machine. They usually give the customers a little tool to unjam the staple unit. Good luck.

How do I replace the staples in Stanley Bostitch B310HDS? I cannot seem to figure out how to open it.

"The staples load from the rear of the stapler. At the back end of the is a piece of black plastic that extends beyond the end of the stapler. This device holds the staples inside the stapler. To open the area where the staples are placed, push this extended button and lift up on it. The spring device that holds the staples inside the stapler will then slide out. Place a new strip of staples inside the stapler on top of the two metal guide rails. Then insert the spring device to lock the staples in place. The stapler is now loaded and ready to work. " hope this helps you out

Instructions on unjamming swingline electric stapler model 270; jam is at the front of the stapler; staplers come out either broken, flaten or crooked and does not secure document.

First, are you using the recommended staples for this stapler? Many heavy duty electric staplers don't use "standard" desk staples. Second, try unplugging the stapler, unloading the staples, and if possible, reach a couple of fingers into the stapler and try manually pushing up on the staple head to see if you can get the driver blade to come down. Does it come down smoothly, or does it seem like there is something stuck in there? If you aren't sure about disassembling the unit (my usual method-but I'd recommend having the parts diagram handy), try using a flashlight to look at the underside of the staple head, where the staples come out - can you see anything stuck in there? If so, you might be able to use a small knife blade or small dental pick to get jammed staple pieces out.

E532-0001

An E532 happens when the stapler unit either does not move from front to rear, or rear to front, or hangs up and stops part of the way. A broken stop gate can get in the way of a stapler and keep it from moving. Usually the two inside gates are the problem. The bottom spring may have fallen off when the plastic tab on the bottom of the gate (which holds the spring) breaks off. Or the parts of the gates that come in contact with the white rollers on the stapler assembly become dry and need to be greased to allow the stapler to slide past them. Also check the wiring harness that runs from under the stapler, through an opening and then connects to the stapler itself. Wires have been known to break internally at the wire-tys and cause erratic E532s. Check each wire with a meter for continuity. Hope this helps a little.
