Try this option, if it does not work, let me know and I will suggest something else!

Plug the camera in along with the usb into the computer and if nothing pops up, go to start, run and browse for your camera. It should show up there.

SOURCE: Everytime I plug my Polaroid

Okay could be a program error with windows and that port. If you have a port on your pc SD Mini port take your camera card out and slid it into the PC port SD mini. it "should accept your photos." download them into My picture folder or some where you can remember. My doc, or my downloads. Oh what many for get is the pic's on your camera will be huge. maybe 3Mbs each, so be sure to compress them. Or it will take for ever and a day to email them. Compressing will not damage the Pic quality.

SOURCE: CAN I DOWNLOAD MY PICTURES WITHOUT USB CORD AND JUST WITH A MEMORY CARD ?

Yes, if your computer has an SD card slot. Most newer desktops and nearly all laptops do. Your camera also has 16 mb of internal memory though. You won't be able to pull them off without the USB cord. The cord you need is cheap enough though. You can probably to to a local Goodwill store and pick through the boxes of cables and wires and computer stuff that has been donated and find one for very little.

SOURCE: how do i upload pictures from my polaroid a300

Easiest way...forget the cord. Use a card reader to download your pictures to a folder you create on your desktop.

I am looking for a usb cord to plug into my computer and download my pics. where can i order one?

You can't order for just usb cord on net because it comes alongwith charger and battery. The best way to buy it would be go to your nearest computer shop take the camera alongwith you and ask them for the usb cord. They will check the connector type and will provide you the cord. Don't forget to check the serviceability before leaving the shop.

Sony camera says Switch on [MENU] when i upload pic from USB cord

1) Try uninstalling then re-installing your Sony software.

2) When you connect to the PC and switch on, Click on Start - "My Computer". Your hard drives and disk drives should appear in the window.

Have a good look, is there a new drive, it may be called Sony, or USB mass storage device it may just be called drive E or F.

If so double click on that drive, if there's a folder there, double click on there, with luck you should see your pictures, that new drive is really your camera.

You should be able to move pictures by copy and pasting. Once copied you can deleted them from your camera.

3) You can buy a device called a "Memory card reader" Make sure its good for sony memory sticks.
You take you card from you camera and put it in the card reader. Then, once plugged into a USB port its just like another HDD as described in 2.

4) I should have said this first, try another USB port if you can, it my just be dust in the port making life hard............

Good Luck.

I have a Samsung L100. Was it suppose to come with a usb power cord? I cannot plug it into my computer at all.

The USB cord is plugged into your charger. It is the same cord. Just unplug it out of the plug that goes into the wall and plug it into your computer. I know, I have the same camera and found it by mistake. No where in the directions does it tell you to take the cord from the charger. Try this and let me know if this works. Mine came right out of the plug that goes into the wall.

Usb cord

Greetings pam0681,

While I was unsucessful in finding a replacement usb cord for the Fisher Price camera, I wanted to make sure you were aware you could utilize an additional SD card to capture memories. You would then use an inexpensive memory card reader which hooks up to your computer to upload the pictures. This would allow you to continue using the camera.

I hope this helps!

USB replacement

You did not say what type of usb cable you needed. I get my cables on ebay or monoprice.com

http://tinyurl.com/2ue3aw

The last time I ordered a cable for a camera, it was a USB A to mini B 5 pin.

http://tinyurl.com/2ntu34

monoprice will most likely have the cheapest prices.
