SOURCE: I have a polycom soundpoint

There may be two different conditions potentially causing this issue.

If type 1, a.k.a. "normal" Caller ID is turned on through the local phone service, the name and phone number of the person calling will be displayed on the SoundPoint Pro's LCD when the phone rings; or, if you are on the phone and a call comes in on another line which is not in use. For the SoundPoint Pro phones to understand the signal from the carrier, the Caller ID signal should be on the second ring. If your local phone service sends the Caller ID information on the first ring the SoundPoint Pro may not receive it and will not display the information.

Check with your phone company to verify on which ring their signal is being sent.

This is the second.

The SoundPoint Pro phones may display no caller ID or display all Zeros for the caller ID or only display one number all of the time. These symptoms are all caused by the same issue, the inability of the software to overwrite the call history which has become full. This does not occur in all phones and replacing the phone does not always resolve the issue. Work Around: SoundPoint Pro SE-220 and SE-225 have a feature to clear call history. Incoming or outgoing call history can be cleared by pressing Select then arrowing down to INCOMING CALLS or OUTGOING CALLS then press Select > Clear Call History. Clearing the Call History should restore the normal function of the Caller ID Display.

I can only use my HAND set by pressing the HEADSET button and callers can not hear me clearly.

Please verify that you have the headset plugged into the correct port on the back of the phone. The handset and headset plugins are right beside each other, and it's easy to get them backwards. This also explains the sound issue, as a headset outputs amplified audio out, whereas a headset is analog and the phone does the amplification of the audio you speak.

When any calls my phone it gos to vioce mail and its not on do not disturb.

possibilities could include sounds like the phone is not registered with the server correctly, your server is not setup to use the proper audio coedec's to pass the call through, so it fails sending the caller direct to voicemail. check the registration port on both ends as well. If everything above appears correct, check to see that the phone is not set to DND at the phone server end, this can be set independent from the phones settings which may appear normal. i hope that helps you.

Polycom SE225: my verizon line provide caller id does not displa

Due to the age of the SoundPoint Pro, it some of its features are not compatible with newer phonesystems, such as CableVision. There are no software updates for the SoundPoint Pro, and as long as the Caller ID is enabled there are no other settings or adjustments that can be made to workaround these kind of problems unfortunately. I recommend contacting your service provider to see what kind of caller ID signaling they are using; most likely they will be using a newer digital system, or MDMF which is not backwards compatible with SDMF or earlier CID receivers.

For incoming calls, the caller cannot hear me for 2-10 seconds after I pick up

You've got an IP issue somewhere in your setup. It sounds like the call is being lost and then the phone is querying the DNS server to find out where it should be looking for the call. Do you have a VOIP server name or it's IP address in the setup? Are you using DHCP or manually assigning IP addresses? If the VOIP server is not on a static IP, I would fix that first. Post back here the answers and we can look at it further.
