Sony television

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

WHAT LIGHTS ON LINKSYS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BLINKING

Note that incoming traffic will cause the WAN (or Internet) light to blink even if it is 'probe' traffic trying to break in to your network. Such traffic is to be expected and is the reason you have firewall functionality in your gateway router.

On the inside, there is a bit of traffic on any LAN when the computers are turned on. Messages generated by the router itself are used to find computers and printers for a lot of different legitimate reasons.

Cisco ip phone 7912 is not working. when conecting in LAN then it will not boot, while another same series ip phone on that LAn port works perfectly. Only red and green LED blink continue in...

If it is getting an IP address, goto that IP address and there you will be able to see some console messages. See if alternate TFTP is set and is going to a different CM server. If so change it to the ip of your CM.

Wan and All LAN led bulbs are continuously on- Router not working

Straighten a Norwegian paper-clip, and insert one end into the small hole in the back of the router, to "reset" the router to its "factory" settings.

Or, spend $50, and replace the router.

My network switch LEDs all blinking even without LAN connected

Hi,

The LEDS blinking normally would indicate reset internally or when the unit has just been powered on. Continous LEDs lighting up or flashing with or without a connection is an indication of extensive hardware failure. This could have been brought about by a near lightning strike, a power surge or simply component failure. Unfortunately the repairs is not economically reasonable and therefore a replacement might be better off. Sorry.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

WAP54G bricked power led blinking LAN connection shows as not connected

you did not specify where the wap is connected when you pinged it. Try this, connect the wap54g to your pc. Assign static ip 192.168.1.5 on the lan of the pc, then ping 192.168.1.245. if you can ping you should be able to access the configuration page. if the power is still blinking you can upgrade the firmware

Problem after firmware update Edimax BR-6114Wg

Hi Fklco,

Why are you connecting the WAN,, (the internet modem cable), to the standard ports? It should have a WAN port, for the cable from the modem, and a LAN for the cables to the computer?

On the other hand, if it is working, I would leave well enough alone, :D
