Printer won't print over wifi - HEWLETT-PACKARD LASERJET PRO P1606DN PRINTER

There must be a bad connection between the iPad an the wireless connection. Try setting up the printer again on the WiFi. Check where the printer plugs in to the wall. If it still won't print call your internet provider or support about it.

First check with another device that your wifi is working if it is try resetting up wifi on your printer.

If someone changed your wifi password you will need to enter the new password.

Uninstall and re-install

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer (if USB connected)> reboot your pc > unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer (if USB connected). Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection or when the WiFi light on the printer turns solid green (if WiFi connected.).

If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

1. Disconnect the USB cable connecting the printer from your computer.
2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.
3. Delete the Lexmark print object.
4. Reboot computer.
5. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - black box where the power cord is plugged into on the back of the printer, and re-plug after 30 seconds.
6. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to the computer.
7. Wait until your computer fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, try to print a document to verify that the problem is fixed.

IPads can't connect to a printer. Wired or by WiFi. You will have to email your document to your regular computer, then print it from the computer

There are two ways to your problem:-

1. The printer is connected to another machine
Set up a Home WIFI system and then add a network printer on the machine that you want to print from. You however need to switch on the pc connected to the printer when want to print. If not sure on setting up a home WIFI system just check on the internet.

2. The printer is WIFI enabled
Just install the printer on your machine and make sure that your printer is hooked up to the WIFI network as well.

Check if the printer has a wireless option. Actually this issue is complex. First thing first, you can print wirelessly from your laptop within the WIFI range in a case that your printer do have wireless on in. It is impossible to print wirelessly from the wired printer through LAN.

One thing, I guess you don't have a wireless router. You need to have a wireless router like LINKSYS that is easy to setup then try to connect wirelessly to the wired printer. There I am not too sure if your can do a printing option from your laptop wirelessly.

Lastly, check if you have a ROUTER and need to set it up on your laptop and on the network LAN. You may now have a NETWORK printer in this regards. Thank you.

Or you might have interferences on your wireless :DECT phone, cell phone, or even an electric device who doesn't work propely, like tv, stove, speakers many things can parasites your connection...
If nothing does your printer as issues, think replacement...
