How many times this standby/power light blinks at one time switch ON? Count it carefully. These blinks are fault indication, and known as blinking codes. From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON; you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. This will make repair easy. Your TV is giving you a code, something is faulty in the system, usually 2 blinks of the red light indicates, Load on power line is shorted. I also would check the bulb also to make sure it doesn't need replacing.

Likely damage to main power supply-------try to see if there is a specific number of blinks then a pause and repeats like 7 blinks a pause and repeats---that is an error code if there---with it AND THE MODEL NUMBER OF THE TV I might be able or not to help.

Make sure you are using the correct batteries, and that they are installed correctly. Some cameras require more powerful kinds of batteries and will not work with the cheaper kinds.
A blinking light can mean something is wrong with the power, not enough or something else.
If you have a power adapter or can get one, you may try that, to see if the camera will work without batteries. If it does, then some problem exists in the battery circuit.

Does the power light just blink? Some of the Mitsubishi sets have a receiver built into them; if the power is removed the power light upon return of power should blink for 70 seconds and then go out--then the set should turn on---if the light never stops blinking---2 possible things--set should have a recessed button on the front keyboard(reset) that you can depress with something not sharp and see if after 70 seconds the light will stop blinking; if no, the set now has a damaged receiver(from the back of the set it is a large metal box on the far left side-----the blinking power light is the receiver trying to boot up like a computer---only should happen if power lost---let me know what you find----the receiver if bad is usually no longer available and can only be repaired by removing it and sending out for repair/rebuild.

It could very possibly be ur power supply,mine did the same and we changed it out with a spare and it came right on
