MSI GT780DXR keeps freezing and once it releases, wifi stops working. It's connected to my router but says no internet connection. Doesn't happen when I have the turbo boost turned on but keeping turbo on heats up the laptop to about 80C

Hello Rifaaqat,
Ok this could be several things, but lets list them in order and if you follow these instructions you should be able to connect ok.
To start.....
First check to see if there is any wireless secuirty on your router and if so, set the secuity to NONE and while your at it, change the channel on the router (IF you can... dont worry if you cant as not all routers are easy to change chanel) plus if there is a friewall or anti-virus enabled (EITHER on your computer OR on the router) then disable it.
IF THAT DOES NOT HELP.......
Second...
From you CONTROL PANEL click on “Network Connections” then click your connection.
Next RIGHT CLICK on the connection it shows you and a pop-up window will appear. Choose PROPERTIES.
That will open a "Local Area Connection properties" window. You will find a box showing different icons look for the one which says Internet protocol (TCP/IP). When you have found it highlight this and click on the property button below.
A new window "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties" will appear from this window and you have to make sure that the following options are selected:
1."Obtain an IP address Automatically"
2. "Obtain DNS server address Automatically"
If they are NOT selected then select them and then click OK.
It will now take you back to the previous window again click apply, OK and close.
Reboot your computer and you should be good to connect.
As a final note, if your having any problems accessing your routers on-line interface remember that the defualt username and password for logining in to it is normally set to “admin” and “safecom”
Hope that helps you, so please leave a rating so I know if it has.
Good luck.

No Wireless Connection Found in Range
Note: You need to use a computer hardwired to the router to check the wireless settings.
1. Please open any web browser like Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
2. Connect to the router by typing http://routerlogin.com/basicsetting.htm or http://192.168.1.1 in the address field and click Enter or Return key.
3. A window will prompt for a user name and password. The default username is "admin" and the default password is "password".
Note: If it does not take password as the password, you might have changed it when you have run the NETGEAR Setup CD so please try other passwords. If you cannot remember the password, you need to reset the router and run the Setup CD to reconfigure it.
4. Click the Wireless Settings under Advanced tab.
5. Check the box under Enable Wireless Router Radio and Enable Wireless SSID Broadcast.
6. Click the Wireless Settings under Setup.
7. Change Channel (recommended are 1, 6 and 11).
8. Change the SSID to uniquely identify your network. You might have a similar SSID with your neighbor.
Note: Do not change the SSID if there are already other wireless computers that can connect to the network.
Other factors that you may consider when you are not able to view any available wireless network:
a. Switch for the wireless adapter is turned off
b. Distance between the wireless router and computer
c. Possible wireless interferences
