Tapping not working - Lenovo IdeaPad Y510 Notebook

Restart your device by holding the power button, then tap Power off.Tap Ok to confirm.Power the device on. Your tablet should now be out of safe mode.If the device is still in safe mode use one of the following methods.
Uninstall the last application you installed: From the Apps menu, tap on Settings.Tap on the app and then tap on Uninstall.Restart your device. (Next step is if the above last uninstalled app/s did not work.) Perform a factory data reset:From the Apps menu, tap on Settings, and then tap Backup & reset.Tap on Factory Data Reset, and then tap Reset Tablet.Tap Erase Everything to format your tablet back to factory default configuration.

Usually this happens if an uncompatible app or mod was installed. System boot up file misconfigured or uncompatible with recent install, but get rid of that recent install and all should work. I hope this helps, good luck.

1. From your Home Screen, Tap Safari. Type http://iapnupdateatt.straighttalk.com. Tap Go

2. Safari closes. Install Profile opens. Tap Install. Tap Install Now

3. Tap Done. Safari reopens.

4. Turn your iPhone off. Turn it back on. Make sure you turned the power off, not just put it to sleep.
5. After restart, Tap Settings->WiFi->Off

6. From the Home Screen, Tap Safari


7. Load a web page. Use a page other than Google. Google may be cached

8. After confirming data works, re-enable Wi-Fi
If your data works, congratulations! If you only need data but not MMS picture messaging, you are done. If you want MMS, continue to Method 2 - Configuring Both Straight Talk Data and MMS for iOS 6
What to do if your data doesn't work? If your data connection isn't working. Try the other Carrier APN profiles from the Straight Talk web site. You can only have one APN profile installed at a time. Each time you want to install a new profile, you need to remove the old one first.
9. Tap Settings->General ->Profile

10. Tap Remove. Tap Remove.


11. Go back to Step 1. but try this URL: http://iapnupdatetfdata.straighttalk.com/
12. If data still doesn't work. Go back to step 1. but try this URL: http://iapnupdate.straighttalk.com/
13. If you have tried all three Straight Talk Carrier APN profiles and your data still doesn't work, try the Straight Talk profile from the unlockit.co.nz web site.
14. From your Home Screen, Tap Safari, Load http://unlockit.co.nz

15. Tap Create APN
16. Tap Country. choose United States. Tap OK.

17. Tap Carrier. Select StraightTalk. Tap OK

18. Tap Create APN.

19. Tap Install. Tap Install Now

20. Tap Done

Repeat steps 4-8 to test your data connection.

When I login it says is not working

internet? if so, thats an easy one. you need to have wi-fi in your house for this to work. Turn on your DSi, go in to system settings, tap the right arrow twice, tap Internet, tap connection settings, tap connection 1, tap search for an access point, find your wi-fi acces point, tap it, if you have a password, enter it, tap OK, when it asks you if you want to save these settings, tap OK, and then begin a connection test by tapping OK. you should be good from there.

First, I tried reset the Network settings. This is what I did:

1. From the main screen, tap Settings.
2. Tap General.
3. Scroll down and tap Reset.
4. Tap Reset Network Settings.

After resetting Network Settings, my phone wass still not working. I then tried to reset all settings.

1. From the main screen, tap Settings.
2. Tap General.
3. Scroll down and tap Reset.
4. Tap Reset All Settings.

you may just have to replace the hot/cold stem

Remove the tap outer cover. Take out the barrel & inside there is the washer on the end of a screw which slides in and out when the tap is turned. This could have been turned too far out and will not go back in. Clean both the screw thread and inside the barrel, lubricate with petroleum jelly or similar and reassemble & test before replacing the barrel. Again lubricate all threads.
Alternatively buy a new barrel

Was the tap shut-off very tight and the tap is turning but the main shaft may not be turning. Check the hot tap mechanism and compare it to the cold tap.

First, make sure you have wireless internet, than go to system settings. than internet.  
For AOSS: tap connection settings tap a connection labeled none tap AOSS  press the AOSS button on the access point until the AOSS light flashes tap ok to preform a connection test


For access point: tap connection settings tap a connection labeled none tap search for an access point tap the desired access point (note: if you are using a secure access point, enter the key and tap ok) tap ok tap ok to preform an connection test 

call ATT, mine did this same problem, and it for some reason got kicked off in the ATT system that i didnt have the correct messaging plan anymore. it sounds odd, but it fixed mine. good luck!

you may try a master reset after backing up to your PC if that doesnt work.
