google for it ive found that over 99 percent of the questions on here about remote codes can be solved by googleing them simply type google search then in the search bar type for whatever remote you have it should give a bunch of listings for your particular remote find your remote then the codes should be there with reprogramming instructions
Instructions for programming your universal remote should be included in package with the device. Codes for many remotes can be found at InsigniaProducts.com. Just search for your model number, NS-PDP42.
Try pushing the "source" button on remote or on the TV. Wait about 5 seconds, if no picture, push again. Do this at least 6 times or until you get a picture. With each push, the TV will look for cable input, dvd input, etc. until it finds your cable signal.
Also make sure your cable/antenna is hooked up and working.
If that doesn't work, hold down the "enter" button for 10 seconds to reset the tv to original factory settings. Then follow the on-screen menu setup instructions.
