he cord light just indicates that the machine is plugged in and has power. In other words, you did great!

If its not a broken notor then its probably u dudnt put the dyat bag right .

check your belt,maybe broken.

Check the belt and the end bearings are free by hand. (electric off plug out) if not free remove plate to access roller/brush, remove clear any obstruction (Hair/string/thread) replace and test. ensure you site belt back on to spindle and roller/brush correctly...

the red symbol probably is the temperature light.This means you motor is over heated.Check hose,wand and power head for a block...Chris

Christmas 2013 I was given an Electrolux ergorapido. I put it on the charger and red light won't come on or if it by chance does it flashes three times and then cuts off.

there's a reset button down on left side of powerhead in the black plastic at base that corrects the problem of that red light

1) Test the main swich is defective
2) Test the belt
3) Tes the motor

If the bag full light keeps coming on, you can first try adjusting the dial on top of the vacuum cleaner. If that does not work, then you need to change the control valve. This is an internal component of the canister and is directly below the dial. You will need to follow the instructions on a previous post to open the Electrolux plastic canister vacuum, and remove the bage cage. Once you remove the bage cage you can change the control valve, and this will solve your problem with the bag full indicator.

i would call electrolux and ask them its free the number should be located on the vacuum some were.
