The playing is stuck it shows powering off on screen
If you have basic knowledge in electronic repair then you can do a check in your player. first you will need to unplug the unit for safety. then unscrew to remove the cover now look for the power supply board which supply the main board and mechanism. try to find any unusual in the board like bulged component parts or any burnt parts, as will as in the main board. if none everything looks fine, at this time you will need a trouble shooting which need to used device like digital tester. you must check weather the supply dc voltages coming from the power supply board are stable if not it will not turn on properly.

Have you updated the firmware on it? I had a similar problem with a Sony blu-ray player and I had to download an update and burn it on to a CD then allow the CD to update the blu-ray player. What's the model number of your player, I may be able to get a link to the update for you.

Its a known issue. There is a firmware update available from the LG website. Download the file LG_BD_370M_UPG_LG_V7154.zip and follow the instruction from the website. It solved the issue for me.
SOURCE: I have the LG BD390.
I had the exact same problem with my BD390 and another LG home theater system, both with the current firmware updates. I noticed others have posted this issue on various sites as well. I called LG and the guy I spoke with seems to have been coached pretty well on the scenes where this problem is occuring since he could sight the exact scenes that were giving me the problem. He claimed the blu ray probably isn't exactly 1080i or 1080p and that the player is probably having problems processing the resolution so I should lower it to 720p. This didn't fix the problem and didn't help explain why my blu ray player which plays plenty of other high resolution movies only has a problem with this movie. I think a firmware update is needed to fix the issue but I'm not holding my breath that LG will be proactive in getting that out soon.
Testimonial: "I think your right about the LG person. And maybe they will do a firmware update. So far this is the only movie. DVD of Iron Man II was fine. "

Have you updated your Blu-Ray player recently? All BD players need to be updated from time to time because of the growing technology of Blu-Ray. Its always been a con of BD players. Best thing to do is have your player connect to the internet.
I hope this is the back of your player. Connect your Cat5 (Ethernet cable) to your BD player and than to your router or modem. The port should look like this on the back of your player.
Once you have this connected start your player and it will have a option in the menu to update. Once the update is complete Toy Story 3 and all new BD discs should work. If not, its possible that the disc is bad. More often you just need to update the player.

Are you talking about the wireless security password that allows you to establish a wireless connection? Or, are you talking about the CIFS login and password that allows you to see shared folders on your computer.
If you can't establish a wireless connection, try changing the type of security you currently have set up on your router. For example, if you are using WPA, try switching to WEP and see if you can then connect the BD570 to the router. As a last option, you could try turning off all security (for a brief time, of course) and see if the BD570 will connect to your router.
If you are having the dreaded CIFS login and password problem (and you are using a Win7 computer), uninstall Windows Live Login-Assistant and Windows Live Essential 2011. Both programs interfere with the ability to use CIFS file sharing on the BD570.
