i think your TV is on demonstration mode.
To turn off the demo mode, press and hold the HOME or MENU button on the TV for more than 10 seconds. The messageDemo mode: Off will appear on the screen.

There are a couple ways to go here. I'll give you the procedures step by step. If you want clarification on anything, just ask. If I make an assumption that is wrong, stop me and let me know. The more you know, the easier this will be for both of us.
First I'd like to double check on MisterSony's diagnosis. Refresh rates that are too high end up as a black screen on many LCD models.
This is my first assumption, the display settings are currently for both monitors. Your original screen is still functioning.
If so,
Get back to me with the results. If it was already set at 60Hz. We go to the next step.

Yeah we have the same exact problem here. Defective TV....ours would correct itself after 30 mins, but now it's blurry all the time. I'm never dropping 2K on a SONY tv again.
