My charger plug in thing wont charge. is there anyway it can be fixed
If it is the adapter, check, it is also sometimes, where it enters the plug, the cable can break here again, wiggle and check, if the PSU IS faulty, best to check with meter, but if sure obtain another, PSU, that has the same specifications or better than the existing one, and you can use this, often the Plugs, aren't the same, these can be "Grafted" onto the New supply, there is only two connections, always the Outer braid, wire, shield, is negative-, earth. The Other one, is always Plus, Positive -. and usually always goes to the Middle PIN in the PSU Socket. If you look on the unit, you will see.. A Power IN, usually, say 90 V - 250V AC, and the other DC reading maybe something like. 19 Volts DC & 4.5 Amps DC. So you need a replacement supply, that works on your mains supply, outputs 19 V DC, and is able to supply a Current, of 4.5 Amps The same, OR MORE, but not Less. will work. Current, is what "Does the work" so this must always be more, the Voltage can be within, 25% and still be OK, if Current is higher. If the wrong adapter is used, as long as it is NOT too, higher voltage OVER, what it requires, this will NOT do any harm. The extra VA, will be dispersed as heat. If too little, again no harm, it will simply not work.
