Bought a generic clip watch from walmart with no manufacture's name on it. The back says MSP74582W batery CR1616 and then A126. Looking to find instructions on how to set alarm, date, and figure out...

Just got one, and haven't lost the instructions yet. First, the 4 buttons are:

S1 - at 4 - Lap/Rst
S2 - at 2 - St/Stp
S3 - at 8 - Mode
Light - at 10

Watch Control
Normal Display: Hour, Minute, Second
Push S1: Alarm time in Hours and Minutes
Push S2: Month, Date
S3: Change function

Alarm and Chime
In Normal Time Hold S1 and the alarm time will be displayed.
Press S2 once and Hourly chime will be on.
Press S2 twice and Alarm will be on.
Press S2 three times and Chime will be off.
Press S2 four times and Alarm will be off.
Press S1 and display will change to normal time immediately.

Setting Alarm Time
In normal time, hold S3 for about 3 seconds, the hour digit will flash and is advanced by pressing the S1 button. Then push the S2 button to change to minutes and change those by pressing the S1 button as above. Push S3 to return to normal time.

To silence the alarm, press S1.

We have a "lost" watch in our school office. It is

If you press the mode button you will step through the settings and one of them should say something like "AL" (for alarm) and pressing one of the other buttons should turn it off. Try the one at 4 o'clock first and the one at 2 o'clock if that one has no effect.

Otherwise put it in a heavy box padded with a towel!

HAve a Armitron WR330, wondering how to turn off t...

The noise is very annoying but after some time I have found the solution to your problem.

Remove the back plate which covers the battery. On the inside of the plate there is a conductor. To silence the noise simply flip the back plate and place it on the watch inverted (upside down) from its original orientation. This should stop all noises and the watch should work correctly otherwise. Enjoy!

Hi, how can I silence the watch? I don't want it to beep during my AP test!

If you haven't got instructions on how to do this, you can get
instructions from the Casio web site.

Go to the casio web site "casio.com".

Select "support" and the "manuals",
watches;

Accept terms

Select "watch manual archive"

Read the number of the back of your watch and enter it into the search box

Elgin grandfather clock chimes not working

I'm not positive about this, but I seem to recall that these type of clocks have two "silence levers" on the movement. These levers are located at the upper left and upper right corners of the movement as you face the movement from the back. The movement back panel has to be removed if it has one.

If the levers are pushed toward the chime rods, they will silence the hour or musical chime, depending on which one it is. I believe the silence levers are supposed to be moved away from the chime rods so the rods can retract and then strike the chime bars.

Want to silence the hourly ''beep''--no manual.

There was another, previous problem posting that was identical to mine, although for a different watch. The solution given also worked for my watch.

Hold in Reset button and note whether all days of the week appear in the display. If they do, the chime is active. Press the Mode button to de-activate: days of the week disappear. Done.

Thanks
