SOURCE: Unable to connect my Kindle

check to see if you have a button to allow wifi access on your router, if you press that button for 2 seconds it will allow your wireless device to connect

Ask someone for the password, or if this is your router then you may need to factory reset the router and setup a new password

I am having a problem with connecting my Kindle Fire to the Wi-Fi. When I try to sign in, it keeps telling me authentication problem. I can't get past this answer. Please help me.

WiFi pass word incorrect or there is an issue with the WiFi router. Check password...make sure exactly the same including capitalization. Try resetting WiFi router.

Turning onto internet I get a white box up with retry o I have Got all the wifi settings up on the screen and underneath my TalkTalk_wifi number there is a sentence saying AUTHENTICATION PROBLEM ?

If your Kindle is not blacklisted, and the dialog box states that you have an authentication problem, then your Kindle is not connecting to your local network. Sometimes this can be caused by chip failure on the Kindle mobo, but usually it is due to an external network problem. You should try again once or twice and then if you continue to experience the problem, try to reset your local router by turning it off and on.

I cant get wifi connection on my kindle hd

Step 1: Remove any old connections in the Tablet by Long Press Forget Connection
Step 2: Reboot your Wireless Router
Step 3: Attempt to connect again
Step 4: If this fails, log into the Wireless router and charge the authentication mode from whatever you have now to WPA Personal and enter a Passphrase you can remember
Step 5: Connect to your Wireless using the new Passphrase

Why does my tablet keep saying authentication problem when trying to connect to wifi

Had same problem - said signal weak although strong on other devices, and hung on authenticating.
Cordless phone on base unit was beside wireless router. Moved unit and turned off phone. Problem disappeared, and signal showed strong.
