You could try to adjust the meter. It seems as if the calculation is off. You should be able to work with the electric company. They should be charging you the highest rate 100 percent of the time.
I'm not a heating expert, but according to the information I could find, Economy 7 utilizes cheap electricty at night, during off-peak hours (7 hours) between midnight and 7AM. Economy 7 costs about 4p per unit compared to peak electricity, which is about 10 to 15p per unit. If you do not have Economy 7, you can request it FREE of charge from your electricity provider. You will either have one meter with two readings or two separate meters. A two tariff electric meter will record the electricity used during off peak times, so it can be billed, separately, at a lower rate. If you have two meters, one meter controls on peak daytime electricity and the other controls your night time economy 7 electricity.
I would need to know what model Creda heater you have installed in order to determine how energy efficient it may be. I also will need the model so I can determine operating instructions. If you need further assistance, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps.
Sounds like a clogged up Catalytic Converter.....I would check that because you said loss of power...It might be clogged up not letting the exhaust out...Will be very very hot under car in front of muffler..
In the eco-route menu there is all the features and functions to calculate your fuel economy. If you are looking for the most accurate fuel economy you will need the ecoRoute HD accessory.
Test the thermistor by using an ice cube. Place the cube on the thermistor and see if the unit starts. Then using a warm towel, wrap the thermistor ans see if it stops. Watch the display to see if it is registering the changes in temp. I suspect a bad thermistor.
Intended as a powerful sport/luxury sedan the $60,000 GS450h doesn't live up to its sport" or "luxury" billing. And its 340-hp hybrid powertrain is designed to optimize performance rather than fuel economy; its 23 overall mpg is only 1 mpg better than the equally quick BMW 535i". Oh, by the by, the 535i is NOT a hybrid. Which trunk would you rather have?
