Since the buttons are fine it is definitely a problem with the main board(digital main). The problem is associated with logic control circuitry malfunction which is causing it to send commands to the microprocessor at will. The part is a large board, which is located near the board with all the inputs and has lots of ICs including the microprocessor. I have found a part but just make sure that the part number(934C265001) matches with the one in your set(the number will be printed on the board) before you order. It costs 357$ but they will return you 208$ if you ship them you faulty board, which works out to 148$

Remote with TV stopped working for vol, AV, and mute. Only power button works. Used new Batt; no change. Used buttons on TV; none work there too. Is there something broken on TV?

If the buttons on the TV -and- the buttons on the remote don't work, then there's definitely something wonky with the TV.

The good news is that the power works and the picture looks good. That rules out a bunch of things. If you don't mind tinkering, replacing circuit boards on TVs is pretty straight-forward -- just take off the back, unscrew the offending board and replace it. You'll have to do a little research to narrow down to the right board to replace -- it might be this key controller board:

Resetting the Lamp Timer

After replacing the lamp, you need to reset the lamp use timer. The manual is a bit cryptic on how this is done. The manual says "Fn. Up > Fn. Dn. > Vol. Dn > Vol. Up > Enter > Power" However, my remote has no "Fn" or "Vol." controls. Further study of the manual shows that "Fn. Up" = joystick up; "Fn. Dn" = joystick down; "Vol. Dn" = joystick left; "Vol. Up" = joystick right; "Enter" and "Power" are keys on the Remote, "Enter being "6 o'clock" position on the ring encircling the "joystick" I am calling the control that one would use to move the cursor on the screen the "joystick" Thus to reset the timer, key in from the remote "cursor up" "cursor down" "cursor left" "cursor right" "enter" "power"

How Can I reset after too many pattern attempts?

OK to my understanding you forgot your pattern and can't get in your android phone. No problem
The following procedure will erase everything from the phones memory this cannot be undone.
Now that that's out of the way... Power off your device. Then hold vol down and the power button it should take you to factory mode use the vol down button to navigate to factory. Reset press the power button to select it and soon it will be done navigate to reboot phone using the vol down button (touch dont work in recovery) and select it with the power button and your phone will be as if you just took it out of the box. If by chance everything is in chinese in factory mode remove the battery and press thw power button and hold it down then press the vol up button right after. You will see a black screen with three things recovery fastboot and normal use the voo up to navigate to recovery press vol down to select itif you see no words and an android robot with an exclamation mark press the power button you should see words use vol down to navigate to wipe date/factory reset and select with vol upove to yes -- delete all user data and press vol up wait until finished go to reboot system now and select using vol up and enjoy ur brand mow phone :)

Power light blinks 13 times

need replaced A-BOARD
Manufacturer Panasonic Part Number TNPH0716ABS Description A- BOARD

After the installation of a new A board, unit has the characters "CHK" on screen. The usual reset procedures of [VOL -] and [MENU] or [OK] or [SLEEP] will not get rid of "CHK".

1. Enter the service mode by holding down the [VOL -] button on the TV (main unit) and simultaneously pressing the [INFO] button on the remote control three times.
2. Press the number [2] key on the remote to highlight [SRV-TOOL].
3. Press the [OK] button on the remote control to select [SRV-TOOL].
4. Use the [DOWN ARROW] on the remote control to scroll down to [PCTC].
5. Use the [RIGHT ARROW] button on the remote to open the box to the right, then press and hold down the [MUTE] button on remote to display Time/Count.
6. Press and hold the [RETURN] button on the remote control until the TV turns off.
7. Immediately press and hold down the [VOL -] button on the TV (main unit) and the [MENU] button on the remote. The TV should come up in the Self Check mode.
8. Remove AC power.

Volume control problem

The MX50X1 uses a series of tac switches for ch+/- vol+/- and power. It would be my first suspect. The vol- tac switch may have become thermal or what we in the industry refer to as the windex syndrome. We see this a lot on direct view TVs usually because the switching board is directly below the screen and every time someone cleans the screen with windex an trace amount of the fluid might drip all the way down to the board and invade one or more of the tac switches. This isn't the only reason a tac switch goes bad or becomes thermal sometimes it just simply fails... Tac switches are cheap (less than $2.00) but the labor to put them in is probably one shop hour. Find a good shop and have them do it - - If you're not sure where to find one goto: http://www.nesda.com/locator/state_search.php and start your research from there... Good Luck Bill PS: Impress the shop you call and tell them you think your TV has developed the windex syndrome. They'll probably think you know a lot more than you do about TV repair. :)
