This model laptop does not have Bluetooth.

Visit www.support.acer.com and download the drivers for the particular laptop.

Is the bluetooth disabled? Click on the link below (the user guide for that model shows on page 4 that the #8 button is for turning bluetoth off/on and it may just be turned off and that's why your bluetooth device cannot find it.

You should not NEED to install the chipset driver unless there are items in device manager such as (SMBUS controller) that show up with a yellow exclamation point or show up as unknown. Acer is (unfortunately) notorious for putting bluetooth switches and software on laptops that don't have have bluetooth cards from the manufacturer - these laptops are just "bluetooth ready" meaning you will need to install a bluetooth card for it to work.

Your acer does not support Stereo bluetooth. Its different from your common bluetooth headsets.

Some laptops have a bluetooth button which needs to be switched on before you can send bluetooth through.

could be that your acer aspire 3680 actually doesn't have bluetooth. they use a standard case for most of there laptops. it has the button for bluetooth but it doesn't have the actual bluetooth card or required hardware.
