I installed this unit into a 1997 sebring convertible with an OEM power amp. I installed the wiring kit as instructed. I put in a cd and it cycles through as if playing and there are no error code. but there is no sound. The radio works great so I know the amp and wiring is okay. This unit worked great in my daughters Tempo but it sat removed for 8 months or so. I have reset the unit to no avail. I did have the faceplate apart and cleaned the buttons because my daughter had spilled pop on it and made the buttons all sticky. Any suggestions?
Sounds like you connected the amp turn on lead to the power antenna wire coming from the deck, so the amp turns on when you have the radio on, but turns off when playing cds. you need to connect the amp turn on lead to the amp remote wire.

I do have the amp remote wire not attached to anything. I'll switch it up. The power antenna goes up when the radion is engaged but not when the cd is engaged. Do you have a color code chart for the chrysler to show what color does what? Thanks for the tip.
I don't have any place to connect the blue/white power amp wire coming off the stereo's harness to connect to the oem wiring.
